Equine Weight Loss Diary was written and designed for a Royal Veterinary College (RVC) final year research project looking into equine weight loss monitoring.
In order to participate in the study please visit www.equineweightloss.com and fill out Survey 1.
The app is designed to be a very straightforward weight loss tracking app. You can input your horse’s details in the ‘My Stable’ section and input a weight measurement every month in the ‘Weight Log’ section, along with a photo if you choose to do so and a body condition score. There are also 4 information pages about weight loss in horses, equine laminitis, how to take girth measurements and body condition scoring. The app also allows you to set reminders for when to measure your horse/pony and create graphs to monitor their progress.
